How to schedule emails in Gmail and review everything before sending.

Scheduling an email helps deliver a message at the right time without depending on you being in front of your computer. Gmail allows you to choose the date and time on your mobile phone, tablet, or browser, and also review the message before it goes out.

How to program on your cell phone or tablet
Open Gmail on your Android, iPhone, or iPad and write your message as usual. After adding recipients, subject, text, and attachments, tap the three-dot menu and choose... Schedule shipment. Select a suggestion or set a date and time. Gmail moves the message to the Scheduled folder and attempts to send it at the chosen time.
How to program on a computer
In Gmail through your browser, click the arrow next to Send and select Schedule shipment. Choose a suggested time or use Choose date and time to set the exact moment. The message remains editable while in the Scheduled folder.
How to review, change, or cancel
Open Scheduled, Select the email and check recipients, links, and attachments. To change the time, use Cancel Send, edit the draft, and reschedule. Canceling a scheduled email does not delete the text; it returns to the drafts.
Time zone and minor delays
Check the time zone displayed on your device before confirming, especially when sending the message while traveling. The message may be sent a few minutes later than chosen, and a temporary connection or service failure could delay delivery. Therefore, allow extra time when there is a tight deadline.
Before closing the screen, review the recipients' addresses, the date mentioned in the text, the attachments, and the links. This check is more useful than relying solely on the scheduled time.
Scheduling is not the same as Undoing.
The scheduling feature holds the message until the defined time. The "Undo Send" feature, however, only opens a short window, configurable between 5 and 30 seconds, after you click Send. It does not replace scheduling for a later time.
Availability
The feature is included with Gmail for personal accounts without an additional subscription. General availability is included with Gmail access, but administrative features may vary for work and school accounts.

Conclusion
The best use of scheduling is to prepare the message in advance and set aside a few minutes for review. This way, Gmail manages the timing without taking away your control over the content that will be sent.
